The History
This is the history of Randomism as it is known today. Since history is always changing, this may be changed without notice.
In the beginning, there was Furcadia. It was a magical land, a wonderful land, a peaceful land, and most importantly a free land (even according to Morpius logic).
Then furres showed up.
Needless to say, Furcadia became more interesting. First there was Talzhemir. She went around making things bright and colorful, painting the trees green and the flowers purple, effectively making the whole place a major turn-off to males (Drate 5:92). Talzhemir knew she was the greatest, smartest, most beautiful and most talented furre in Furcadia. She had to be, since she was the only furre in Furcadia. But she had no way to prove this to other furres, because no other furres existed to compare herself to. Even worse, no other furres existed for her to prove it to! In order to solve this dilemma, Talzhemir prayed to Master Socket for an inferior furre to be created, so that she might boast her superiority to it. Thus, Felorin was created.
Felorin's cloning knowledge, coupled with Talzhemir's passion for exploiting Felorin's knowledge, allowed many more furres to be created over the years. Dreams began popping up everywhere, guilds were formed, advertised, neglected, and abandoned, and every furre and their alt began making websites about themselves.
As the population of furres increased, so did the confliction of opinions, ideas and senses of humor between furres. As a young lad, the furre now known as the Head Randomist grew up in a Furcadia where the increase of twinkish troublemaking led to the founding of the twinkish Owsla (later renamed the Guardians, so as to not sound so twinkish), where various Furcadia-related web forums raged with "listen to what I say because I'm so smart" posts, and where furres like Xaa had many wives while furres like Krum had none.
The Head Randomist could only laugh at some of the things going on in Furcadia, which other furres seemed to take so seriously. But laughing at the foolishness wasn't enough for him. He needed a place to vent the frustration it sometimes caused him. Thus, on August 25, 2000, Randomism was born. The Head Randomist began posting things on the website nearly every day, poking fun at Furcadia society itself, not realizing how popular the website was quickly becoming. Soon it became that the website's most avid followers were those who were being made fun of on the site.
After about six months, the Head Randomist decided that his work in Furcadia had been done and that he could move on to greater things. So the website posted its finale, vowed never to return, and the Head Randomist went on a much needed vacation to Furrabian Nights. He spent another six months enjoying himself here, and attending regular FLC meetings, before returning to Furcadia to find the place nearly as bad as it was before Randomism was opened. He found Furcadia tainted with such newly formed questionable content such as The Beat, The Furcadian Edge, and Cironir. The Head Randomist quickly decided that he was once again needed, and recanted his promise to never revive Randomism, creating the current website, Spawn of Randomism.
And then this happened: Prelude:
ROR
And it was good.
